Yes, that is the message i got every time i try to post a message in my latest project using WordPress.
I got Your attempt to edit this post: “The Post” has failed, whenever i try to publish a page or a post.
I saw this problem is a hot topic right now in Wordpress support forum. It said not everybody facing the same problem. Am i the lucky one? However thanks God, this blog does not face the same problem.
Anybody facing the same problem? Would be great if you could share with me how to solve the problem. Some said it because of the plugin conflict, but i haven’t see any explanation, which plugin raise the problem.

Since i can’t find any information regarding this problem, i delete my SQL database, and re-create new database with the same name.
Then i re-install the worpress normally. Go to mydomain.com/wp-admin/install.php.
Voila, it all done! So far no error found. Not sure what happened last time

I use 2.5 as well, I haven’t got that problem and I love editing my posts. LOL! Looks like 2.5 still has a lot of bugs to fix.

Anyway, that’s great to hear your guys are all ok. I am thinking of re install my WP. I already spent to much time searching for the fix, but getting nowhere to solve the problem….

I´m using Wordpress version 2.2.1, because all the plugins that I need will probably not work with the newer versions of Wordpress. Is it important to always have the newest version?

Personally it’s important for me to always upgrade to the latest version of WP. Reasons are :
First, latest version always give a better security protection, even i never had any security problem, in my humble opinion it’s always great to take precaution
Second, latest version always come with a lot of advantage that can make your blogging activity easier and fun.
I think you should take a try for WP 2.5, it’s cool. It has so much feature, it could automatically upgrade your plugins right from the dashboard.

Hi I got the same problem with my expired domain blog, But it’s solved now!
I deactivated the “Post Notification” plugin, and it’s over

Thanks for highlighting this issue! Although I didn’t get this problem after upgrading to WP2.5, I’ve searched the wordpress support forum just to know a little more about the problem. From this thread it seems to be a BOM (byte order mark) problem.
