No, it is not an online philosophy class and it is not about Rome Italy at all. It is about how to make money outside of adsense. However this blog still is about how to make money online and not philosophy isn’t it?
Making Money Online = Google Adsense
Making money online has been long identic with google adsense, and each and every days hundreds if not thousands websites pop in to the internet specifically made for adsense.
Here i want to tell you, adsense is not the only way to make money online. If you are advanced internet marketer you might already know what i am going to tell you about.
Still, there are a lot of people who don’t realize there is still many ways to make money out of adsense world. I was one of the guy who thought that making money online revolve around google adsense world only.

I had to admit, that google adsense is still world biggest online advertising company and share a great number of money for their publisher, and money people still reap benefit of it. But nowadays people, your reader, are starting to avoid the kind of advertising google offer.
The Immune System And The Ignore Factor
It is like an immune system, that make people automaticaly skip their eyes from adsense advertising. This immune system make the so called the most strategic adsense placement, the best adsense unit that convert, place adsense unit right beside a picture and many other adsense strategy doesn’t work perfect anymore.

Now you might think, why not switch to 125×125 banner advertisement eh? Well, blogging mix has another opinion about this check it out

The year 2007 is the year where much and much more people, most of them full time blogger, move to another advertising company as long as it is not adsense. At this moment, if you check some of popular blogs, you will notice most of them have no google adsense in any of their page at all.

Spread Your Risk
To be truth, I myself got two niche websites that has adsense units in it. But, adsense is not the only tools i use to genereate money. I am also selling related affiliate products and making an amazon store within it, so people will have the option to buy related products. Even though those niche websites haven’t generate money at this moment, as i haven’t have the time to make any promotion on it though.
An experienced business man, always think to spread his risk. My point is, don’t put your egg in just one google-basket, try to give an option for your website to generate money from some other sources too.
The key here is, be Creative, think out of the box.
If you have been banned by adsense, or have never made any fortune from Uncle G so far, always remember, it’s not the end of the world.

I must admit that a lot of Internet advertisements are losing their original appeal. They first started with really, really annoying popups, and then we have Google toolbars and etc to actually stop them from crowding the screen. When Google Adsense first appeared, it’s customisability gained a lot of supporters and most important, you can choose to display text ads instead of spam-looking images - means less distraction from your site’s main content. But I must agree that people are increasingly ‘immune’ to advertisements. People skim through the ads, acting as if they’re not seeing them.
I click on certain advertisements back then, but after so many years having my eyes roaming through so many pages, I’m losing touch of advertisement.

Yeah, i think people who claim to had made big money (5 to six digit) from adsense, was those who publish adsense in the first to second year adsense was introduced.
I can’t hardly remember when was the last time i click on adsense kind of advertisement. Maybe half year ago? My eyes just go on autopilot avoiding advertisements, Lol….
So how did it go for you ted? do you made any money online though? Would be glad to hear your sharing here, or would you like to be the first guest poster for henbima.com?
