Made My First Money!!
Wohooo!!! I made my first money!
Today i got an email from one of my affiliate, it’s THC’s web hosting. The email’s subject is clear “You’ve made a commission!”. I then checked my affiliate account and saw there is $14.25 boxed in.
Yeah, it’s not HUGE yet, but i take this as a beginning of everything.
The stats above show that i made my first sales after 50 clicks. I wonder if i could make higher CTR (Click Through Ratio), such as 100, will i make 2 sales? I will let you know if it happen.
So far i don’t really know how i made the sales. How people got interested one my ‘products’, whether its the small banner i put up there or the bigger one beside my side bar.
Wait, in my earliest post i have a review about THC web hosting, was it the one that help made the sales? The post was about Top Hosting Center, company where i host this blog and few other niche site.
The hosting plan i bought was special, it’s just $95 for a lifetime hosting! I paid it once, and won’t have the burden to pay any hosting cost anymore in the future.

I think there is tool out there to track my affiliate click.
This first sale boost my confidence that i can make money online, i just need the persistence and keep pushin’ myself some more, until another sales boxed in.
This also is a proof that making money online is not just a dream. Now i know the “joy of first sales”, many people has talk about

I think if you promote THC a bit, you might get more than i did. As i saw you have more traffic coming to your cute site

Haha, it was 175$ accumulated over few sales. Out of the 5 sales, I think only 1 actually was referred from my site. The rest, I actually paid for advertisements on forums and whatnot to get sales.
My traffic is actually kinda low. I only get around 70 unique visitors per day on an average day. And around 100-200 per day when my site gets digged or stumbled. It’s just that my traffic -to-comment ratio is high. So don’t let that fool you.

Hahaha! No, I’m not a pro at making money online. If I find the opportunity, and it’s not time-consuming, I take it. It’s simple math really, I pay $20 for ads at a high-traffic site that bloggers and small-business owners go. In return, even if I get just one sign-up, I am paid $25. So I gain $5 at minimum. Anymore, will be a bonus. It doesn’t pay as well as having ads on your site, or using payperpost.
To be digged or stumbled, you need to network with other similar bloggers, and have your content be original and interesting. A great way to meet other bloggers is blogcatalog.com. Mybloglog.com is another great place too!
Congratulations for getting your first online paycheck you’ll surely be earning more in the future, no worries!

Did you do any promotion for THC ivy? I once though to make some kind of advert as well for THC, but i am afraid it was gonna cost me a lot since i know nothing about advertising.
So what i do is, just put a banner here and there in my blog
I am thinking to join those two you mentioned, still have no time for the moment.
I was so busy these two days with my shop, making sure all things in shop going smooth while i am not in place(i am leaving for Singapore tomorrow for a week)

Haha, not really. I didn’t do anything for THC. I do constantly write about them, but I don’t really use my affiliate link. I don’t know why. Hahaha.
Putting a banner on your blog is a good idea but to increase the amount you get, you would have to heavily promote your blog.
Don’t worry about making money online so much if you’re busy with offline stuff. Do it when you’re more free.
No matter what advice the money making blogs tell you, the most important factor to success is to put your soul into it (offline or online) - just like I put my soul into Nanyate?!
Once you got that down pat, then the advice those blogs tell you come into play.

I made 175$ from my old host. I also signed up to be a THC affiliate but I never really did fiercely promote it, so no money for me.
