In this post I’d just want to give a quick heads up about recent things that happened
to my fellow PPC marketer.

Just few days ago I got an email from a FlashMMS customer whose account was suspended from google adwords. He sent me an email, and also post a discussion at Campaign Blast forum where I’m a member of.

From the talks in the forums, I conclude that two of the culprit of the suspension are because of:
1. Promoting related Google product like :
2. Having too much low quality score keywords
(I know this is relative, only Google know when it’s too much and that’s when they send us warnings or
when G suspend us right away and that would be too late.)

While I believe there are several more factors that G consider before suspending their clients, but from the case I learned those two are the biggest.

From my observation, I also learned that most of the Adwords account that got suspended are those account that are new or accounts that hasn’t build history with Google.

If you think that your account is in risk (had one or two of the culprit mentioned above)
go check your adwords account now.

1. If you have any campaigns that promote explicitly how to make money from google, delete them right away.
Ex: getmoneyfromgoogle.com; The site is not in service anymore, but you can check out google cache to
know more details what this site is all about

2. Trim and Delete non performing keywords
Check out Campaigns that have low QS keywords and keywords that has low or no impression at all for the last one week. Delete the non perfoming keywords.

If you already had your account suspended, don’t fret.
Be positive. It’s not the end of Search Marketing.
Google is not the only search engine in town, there are Bing (MSN) and Yahoo available for us.
