Who Am I And Why I Started This Blog
I am an IT enthusiast, and currently run my own retail business, a brick and mortar shop called “HM”. When i started out my first blog it was just for fun and to fulfill my curiosity what fun is in a blog.
Later on, i learn there is actually a potential to make money using blog, and hundreds if not millions of people has already succeed make a living from blogging. The fact that many people has succeed tickled me, I want to be part of them who make a living from online job.
I don’t think that i will leave my job and working online to be a full timer, as many people out there have succeed on. However i am trying to make some fortune here in cyber world by using extra times i got.
My Target
Currently as per 28th February, my target is to make $30/month before the end of April 2008. Some of you might think it is an easy target to achieve, but for me, whose has just know blogging and html, php intensively early this year, it’s a challenge.
So, I say starting small is best.
My Tools
My Tools to reach target i set are various. So far i have been using several technique
- mini-niche-site, with adsense, text advertising and affiliate products.
- Join up a blog contest, making my way to “paid review”
I will add some more here when i discover another new method.
My Commitment
Time constraint and day job strict me to online too much, i have learned that i can’t stand on two boats, i have to choose which one is my primary and focus on it. My job is the primary and this cyber live in this term blogging, is my secondary. But that will not be a reason for me to reduce my effort in making money online.
Blogging and copy writing are totally new for me, writing a post like this took me almost an hour, but still I am eager to push my self and willing to learn and know new things.
I never wrote in English and rarely speak in English, people in my country speaks totaly different language from English, so i beg your pardon if you find typo or grammar issue here.
I previously made a commitment to make a minimum 1 post per week, and more if i had the time. My previous experience told me that i can make it two. I want to push my self with this written commitment, because i know persistent is the key to success.
