Thinking Of Theme Changes

March 23rd, 2008 by Henbima

It almost 2 month since henbima.com goes online with this look. Some minor modification has been taken to improve the blog look and i still feel dissatisfied with the modification.

I made some effort to modify the sidebar and footer to something like nanyate or teddY’s blog, but lack of time and skill made it almost impossible for me to learn the “nip&tuck” by mylsef.

I think this css and php editing is not for me. So i will take the easiest way to instantly change the look of this blog by changing the theme with one that close to what i need.

What i need from a theme :

  • look clean
  • fast to load
  • widgetized
  • has footer that can easily be modify using widgets
  • easy to monetized (i am thinking of 125×125)
  • Most Important of all, it is FREE :)

Actually i have started trial and error with some themes on my old blog, since last week. I found these Themes as the nominee :

Do you have themes or actually use one that look fit what i need above? I’d be grateful if you have one in your mind and drop the link down here as comment. Thanks!!

I am back

March 22nd, 2008 by Henbima

At last i am back from long “medical visit” to Singapore.

Phew, spending a week time in Singapore surely worth the time and the money. Singapore is a fantastic modern and wonderful city. They got top notch facilities; the airport, the mass transit, they also home of great foods and Malls :)

As i post before, i was leaving for Singapore to accompany my mom checking for her health issue. Thanks God the check-up result was good and there was no serious problem found on my mom.

The check up took total of 2 days, but our return ticket was for a week. That made us have a lot of time to shop and walk around in Singapore.

As a total bookworm, I spent most of my time in “Kinokuniya” and “Border” bookstore.

I did manage to skim read some interesting books; Wordpress for dummies, books about how to start business in the internet, affiliate marketing and many more.

Skim reading really saves me a lot of money, i was able to avoid jumping to every book with interesting cover which in the end offer no more than what i already know from another book.

I bought a lot of books on my last visit to Singapore (around SGD 500), but this time, i only spent no more than SGD180 :D

Now i am back, i am going to do some shop-manager-duty for few days.

Then i’ll start focus on rolling henbima.com and working on my “make money online” project.

Leaving For Singapore

March 12th, 2008 by Henbima

Guys, fellow bloggers, I am leaving Singapore tomorrow to accompany my mom for a medical check up. So i won’t be able to post anything here in my blog.

I see that i will not be able to make any post during my six day visit to Singapore.

However, feel free to leave comment on posts you find interesting, i’ll make sure to reply on all of them when i’m back later.

How Bad You Want $5 Buck A Day?

March 10th, 2008 by Henbima

Do you want to make 5 bucks a day?

In your strive to make money online, have you done one of these :

  • acquiring resell rights to e-Books and software products, and selling them online and on eBay
  • joining affiliate programs and buying pay per click ads to send traffic to the merchants
  • building a mailing list by giving away free e-Books, then trying to sell to the people on the list
  • building web sites, and doing the proper SEO things to get traffic to them
  • buying and using the software products that would mass generate thousands of web pages in minutes
  • setting up blogs, and pinging the directories
  • writing articles and distributing them to dozens of article directories
  • writing and submitting press releases
  • hiring writers on eLance to write articles for me, then building web sites around those articles
  • purchasing private label rights (PLR) for thousands of other articles
  • finding public domain works and using them for other sites
  • buying high price DVD/CD courses to learn how to drive trafic to my sites
  • joining paid membership sites that provided niche products and niche product ideas
  • joining another paid membership site where it was promised that I would learn how to finally put it all together, under the tutelage of a “niche master” who would spill his secrets
  • … and much, much, more.

My questions is, have you made any money at all from those products you buy and things you done? Are you tired of buying into every product that lauched everyday by people who called them self Guru?

Since the first time i started blogging and looking for a way to make money online, I have been into buying-spree-mode to improve my knowledge on how to make money online. More than $200 have been spent last month on e-book, forum membership, script, you name it.

Honestly, i haven’t made any money online till today, even though i have done half of those points mentioned above. The affiliate commission i got last week (selling one hosting plan) is actually the only one i had ever sell so far :)

I realize now, most of the e-books and products i bought didn’t help me much. Because i never been focus and take serious action on any of them.

Introducing 5BucksAday

5Bucksaday

5bucksaday, is the e-book that opened and changed my mind, my point of view, and teach me to put more focus on doing online business. Since buying this e-book I haven’t buy any new breakthrough product from any internet marketing guru any more.

So far, 5bucksaday and it’s forum has suffice my lust of knowledge (is this word “lust” proper to use in this kind of phrase? *gulp*) on how to make money online. Currently, i have started a project based on what i have learned from the e-book and the forum.

Nonetheless 5 Bucks a day is one of the most influential book i have read so far. I think the bonus Dennis gave us out in the forum has made my ‘investment’ paid off :)

Oh, have i mentioned, the book is written by Dennis Becker. He is a well known warrior of Warrior Forum.

Warrior Forum itself is a very famous among Internet Marketer. You should check it out, there are plenty of information regarding Internet Marketing.

The focus of this 5BucksADay is, how to make your very first $5 a day. Dennis point out, how to do it, and what will you need to do to reach that $5 a day.

Most Internet Marketer believed that reaching for your first dollar is the hardest part in making money online. But once you succeed, the next dollar will flow.

Dennis’s 5bucksaday sales page was far from hype-type sales page, you might used to encounter in cyber world.

Why You Should Buy 5bucksaday

The real deal of 5buckaday is the Forum, it is the Grand Bonus. You can access the forum unlimited for a lifetime to just for buying the e-book. There you will find fellow internet marketer share their best idea about what is hot in internet marketing world.

5Bucksaday LogoI have been around his forum for a while, and found it is different than other kind of forum i have joined. The forum has great atmosphere, all of the members support one and another to reach their very own first $5/day, in this fierce internet marketing world.

Everybody has their own “business style” to reach their first $5 a day. The forum has it’s own business idea thread where member can discuss many options of making money online.

So, let’s say you already know that you can make money from blogging. Here in the forum, you will get mind opening, and realize that there are actually much more options to make money online. Better than blogging.

I won’t tell you the detail here, because it’s information reserved only for members.

To reach your first $5 a day, the forum has sub thread of business models which fit your style. Join business model which you feel like yo want to focus on. Business model that fit your style, to reach your first $5 a day.

To make it even easier, you can always read and copy on what people did to make their first $5. The members are quite open about their success, and everybody can copy and discuss their success.

Free E-books Every Month!

Best of all, Dennis frequently drop a numbers of e-book’s and products that most has a resell right every month. Products that sometimes cost more than “5bucksaday” it self. You can sell these e-book as it is your own product. You can sell these products in e-bay, you can sell it in your blog, sales page, where ever and you keep the profit all for yourself :)

Products Deniss gave away for free is not just an old and not used e-books, much of the product i found is actually fresh from the oven. Some products are products that currently offered as a WSO (Warrior Special Offer) in Warrior Forum and has the resell right.

So, if you have been buying products by products and still not making money from it. Stop looking around, buy 5buckaday. It is an investment you will never regret. Even if you do regret buying this stuff someday, you can always have a refund. I doubt that would be an option, since Dennis always over deliver his products.

It’s Expensive

So, you are saying this $47 investment is expensive? Do you think $47 is a bit too much for just an e-book and it’s lifetime forum access?

No problem, i did have the same doubt as you might have now. How if the e-book is just like another e-books people sale? Same content, different packaging?

How if i over you to give a big discount and have a ‘taste’ for the e-book? Instead of paying $47, you can have the 5 bucks a day junior for just $7.77. Later if it satisfy you, and you want to have the access to the forum, you can add $38.

So, if you badly want to make your first Bucks, buy 5 bucks a day (including forum access) or 5 bucks a day jr (you can have forum access after upgrading).
